WHAT IS NEW IN v1.28

  - The CPU clock is back at 1 MHz like on the original board
    (it was 12 % too low). Lamp shows, timers and the DMD data rate
    now run at the original speed.
  - New speed settings, calculated from your v1.27 clips. The target
    setting A should give about 2.3 s per high score entry, like
    your original MPU.


WHAT YOU NEED

    - file:  WillFA11_v128_calib.jic
    - a phone to film the display, on the same tripod as last time


THE SWITCH SETTINGS

Option DIPs 4, 5 and 6 select the CPU speed in this test build.
Everything else stays as you have it.

The DIPs are read at power-up: please power cycle after each change.
The boot message will show version 1.28.


WHAT TO FILM

For settings A, B and C - exactly like last time:

  1. Power cycle, let the game go into attract mode.
  2. Film the DMD until the high score list has been shown
     completely at least once (#1 to #6).

Setting D only needs a short clip (one pass of the high score list
is enough). It will look far too fast - that is expected.


PLEASE ALSO CHECK

  - Setting A: play one or two games. Does the game feel like your
    original MPU now? Does the DMD keep up with the game?

  - DMD reset / "wiieeew" sound: do they still happen? In which
    setting? If possible, film it. Does the DMD show the start-up
    screen "LETHAL WEAPON R2.0 8/14/1992" when it happens?

  - Setting D: do the DMD reset or the sound happen there as well?

  - PIN2DMD: does it show a picture in any setting?
