PIC

From Wikipedia: PIC (usually pronounced as "pick") is a family of microcontrollers made by Microchip Technology, derived from the PIC1650  originally developed by General Instrument's Microelectronics Division. The name PIC initially referred to Peripheral Interface Controller, and is currently expanded as Programmable Intelligent Computer.

Each LISY does use three PICs of type PIC18F45K22.

The PICs need to be programed, here you find the software.

With latest LISY HW version you can program the PICs yourself. For the early LISY HW versions a programmer which can program PIC devices is needed .

LISY1

For LISY1 HW Version 5.1 and 6.0, latest PIC Software is included in the LISY Image

Latest LISY Image will automatically program PICs wit latest Software, older versions to adjust!

6.0 : ( Solenoid PIC: v5.1; Display PIC: v6.0; Switch PIC: v4.1 )

5.1 : ( Solenoid PIC: v5.1; Display PIC: v5.1; Switch PIC: v4.1 )

For all other HW versions use the ones from the Archive below.

(Solenoid PIC: v4.1; Display PIC: v4.2; Switch PIC: v4.1 )

Hint: Display PIC Version 4.2 does solve 'ghosting' isues on Displays.

LISY80

For LISY80 HW Version 5.1 and 6.0 latest PIC Software is included in the LISY Image

Latest LISY Image will automatically program PICs wit latest Software, older versions to adjust!
