Howto crimp Gottlieb edge connectors
Most failures with Gottlieb System1 & System80 games are because of bad contacts. Best to insert new crimp contacts in ALL of your edge connectors. Thanks to pinhead 'Joschi' for providing the pictures.
TIP: if you do not have the original housings anymore you can let them 3D print. Have a look here.
Crimp contact for single sided connectors ( link to German shop)

original Gottlieb edge connector housing
push gently onto the latch on the backside
After that the contacts can easely be removed
remove all old contacts
cut the old contacts and strip the isolation
prepare for your 'crimp session'
crimp the crimps
thats how the crimp should look like
insert the new crimps into the old housing
